There are so many goals I have for the new year.
Fitness, health, spiritual growth, music, knowledge, relationships, finances, service, volunteering…
So often, I get overwhelmed and end up doing a little of each one, but not really succeeding in anything. At least, that is what happened in 2025.

I need a plan.
I need a trustworthy Guide.

Can we walk into the new year without a map?
What about using my beloved 12-month, at-a-glance, dry erase calendar?
Before we break out the markers and stickers, here’s a meaningful podcast that will help us establish the best, first step.
I first heard this message over 20 years ago and I’m reminded of it, not just every January, but anytime I face decisions in this ever-changing world.
It’s worth the time. I promise.
Why?
Because no one has been this way before, but God has. Who better to program our directions?
Choose Wisely.
Live Fully.

Joshua 3
Israel Crosses the Jordan
1 Then Joshua got up early in the morning; and he and all the sons of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they spent the night there before they crossed.
2 Then at the end of three days the officers went through the midst of the camp;
3 and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God with the Levitical priests carrying it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it.
4 However, there shall be a distance between you and it of about two thousand cubits by measurement.
Do not come near it, so that you may know the way by which you shall go, for you have not passed this way before
5 Then Joshua said to the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do miracles among you.”
